The Angelo Monteverdi Library belongs to the Presidency of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy. Its bibliographic heritage consists of approximately 120,000 volumes and 600 periodical titles and includes some important historical collections.
Its institutional function is to encourage study and research in the field of linguistic, philological and literary disciplines through the selection, acquisition and conservation of scientific production in these subjects, guaranteeing their fruition.
The organization of the Library is divided into scientific sectors that document the different disciplinary skills.
